Little Ukraine after the fall of Kievan Rus'.

Just before the Mongol Invasion, Kievan Rus' began to splinter off with Novgorod and Moscow in the future lands of Russia, Polotsk in modern Belarus, and Kiev in Ukraine.
After the Invasion, Kiev was left in ruins and lost its political and economic power. While it was still a center of religious importance, the principality suffered from mass migrations and became the object of desire of both Lithuania's Grand Duke Gediminas and the Mongols.

General headcanons (I'll edit as time goes by):
She doesn't have very clear memories of Kievan Rus' after their death. They pretty much exist as a dream to her so she holds them to incredibly high standards. Everything they've done was right and they were the perfect parent. In reality, they probably left her and her siblings alone to do other things, leaving her in the care of humans.

She does see Germania as an uncle, but him and the Germanics are very, very far off relatives. The Scandinavians are probably closer, but... I'm not sure. Either way, she sees them as relatives and will call them uncle/aunt or cousin.

Elders from her time period that she's not related to she does call "sir" or "lady" even if that's probably not the language she'd use
